Brochures for our testing machines can be downloaded in PDF format. You will need PDF viewing software such as Adobe Reader to open these files.

Drivers

A Windows® driver is available for use with the USB interface on the C53 and CT6 Testing Machines. The driver should be installed BEFORE connecting the C53 or CT6 to the computer; this will allow Windows® to install the correct driver automatically. Once installed, a COM port will be created allowing access to the machine in the same way as the RS232 port allows, such as by using Hyperterminal, Tera Term or RealTerm. C53 Firmware Updates

New versions of the operating firmware in the C53 Tablet Hardness Tester are released occasionally; the current firmware version is V1.31. Firmware updates offer new functions, including calculation of statistics for thickness & weight, and storage & recall of test results & statistics, and resolve a small number of issues found in older firmware. Users of machines running firmware older than V1.15 are urged to update. C53 users can request that new firmware be emailed to them using our contact form. Please include your company details and machine serial number when requesting a firmware update.

Firmware can be loaded into the machine from a Windows® PC via either the RS232 or USB port using the software provided below. This software also includes a function to check online for new firmware updates. Instructions for installing the update will be sent with the new firmware.

CT6 Software & Firmware Updates

CT6 Software

CT6 software

Remote control & graph plotting software is available free-of-charge to CT6 customers. This replicates the CT6 front-panel controls, display & printer, and enables the CT6 to operated entirely from the PC. The software can also plot a graph of load vs. crosshead position. This can be exported to Excel, CSV, or saved as an image. Please contact us with your company details and machine serial number to request a copy of the software.

The current firmware version available for the CT6 testing machine is v2.18. Firmware updates can be requested using our contact form. Please include your company details and machine serial number when requesting an update. Firmware can be loaded into the machine from a Windows® PC via either the RS232 or USB port, using the software available from the link below. Instructions for installing the update will be sent with the new firmware.
